Calvin Anderson Leads WPT Prime Championship Final 125 into Day 3
Monday was moving day in the hunt for the 2023 WPT Prime Championship at Wynn Las Vegas, with 125 players making it through to Day 3 and maintaining their hopes of winning the $1.38 million first-place prize.
The stars came out for this $1,100 buy-in tournament, and all you have to do to prove it is take a quick glance at the chip counts at the end of Day 2. Calvin Anderson, a two-time WSOP bracelet winner and former #1-ranked online player in the world, is one of two players to bag over 10 million chips. The other is Valeriy Pak, who won a WPT Deepstacks title in Korea in 2018.
In third place is Mukul Pahuja, who won WPT Player of the Year honors in 2014 with three WPT final tables and two runner-up finishes. He has five career WPT final tables in total.
