Biography
Annie Duke is an American former professional poker player and former WSOP bracelet winner. During her poker career she also won the 2004 WSOP Tournament of Champions and 2010 National Heads-Up Championship. She is the brother of Howard Lederer.
Over the course of her career she amassed live earnings of $4.2 million.
Biography
A polarizing figure in the world of poker due to her alleged involvement in the Ultimate Bet/Absolute Poker scandal, she parted ways with the company in December 2010.
In 2009, she appeared on the second season of the Celebrity Apprentice hosted by Donald Trump. She finished second to the late Joan Rivers int he final.
Duke was also involved in the now-defunct Epic Poker League, which ultimately filed for bankruptcy with liabilities of $7.9 million and with only $38,000 in cash holdings.
